Using the most accurate OCR Engine, eDocCapture recognizes specific data on the document, based on templates designed by the user.
The following types of data can be recognized: • Text (alphanumeric strings) • Numbers • Barcodes • Hand written text • Marks (OMR) The data extraction templates are created by the eDocCapture Designer a very easy to use tool, where the user can select specific recognition areas of the scanned document, by just drawing rectangles. The recognition areas are then associated with data fields with specific properties set by the user. Templates can be designed for virtually any type of form or document. Each template can consist of many pages. |
